Decisions, decisions...someone help me out???

Ok some of you may know that I broke the firing pin on my hornet , but I haven't sent it in as of yet...

I'm trying to decide on getting a fluted 223 barrel(if it'll fit for it), the sn prefix is NN.. Think it'll work??

I'm also looking at getting a couple of new handi's basing one of my selections on price since I'll be mainly looking to reload for it, once it's scoped and shot in.. That would a 25-06, after checking the ballistics and price of brass and all, it seems to be a very economical deal..

My other choice would be 204 ruger fluted if they sell them, or getting one in a standard barrel and just ordering on later...

I'd be greatful for your thoughts on the selections I've made... Eventhough I'm chomping at the bit to get my hornet sent off to be fixed, I'm trying to make a good decision as to what'd be best for when I got it back...

You should be good to go for any or "all of em" , barring any inventory shortage, they're all available and you frame does meet their criteria!!

Just looking at the website, the .223 fluted 24" bull barrel is not marked with an asterisk denoting the need for the receiver made after '99.

From what I've read here, any of the calibers you've picked should be shooters....especially since you handload.

N = 1999, frames made '99 and later qualify for all barrels.

I forgot .... I'm gonna have to add one more handi to my list,since I'll be hunting in MD this coming season, and that'd be a 20 gage slugger(ultraa of course), and have a mod choke barrel added for the heck of it...

Will begin the ordering here in the next month...
