If you are or have hunted in Idaho might want to get on it. Remembering one of the reasons that the current regulations were changed was because of mule deer harvests....
This survey is based on deer hunting but it has some questions about what type of weapon you like to hunt with. I sure let them have my opinion and I hope you'll take a few minutes and do the same. Thank you.

I Completed the survey and sent it in. A big problem for a lot of us up here in northern Idaho is the lack of mule deer and then the fact that in the last few years we have had to declare what deer hunt we were going to hunt - general or whitetail... and of course I have chosen whitetail, so all those questions did you hunt mule did in 2006 did not help when I answered no.
But at the end of the survey in the box provided I did write the following....
The current proposed muzzleloading regulations are not a good step. They will put an economic strain on a lot of families (and actually sporting goods dealers also) that were caught unaware. Under the current (or previous) Idaho restrictions the use of an inline proved to be no more effectice than a pivoting hammer type muzzleloader. Either using an inline or a pivoting hammer is far less efficient than using a centerfire, multiple round gun.
