primary extraction problem
« on: February 28, 2007, 11:56:39 PM »
I've got a model 12 that is now a 6br chamber. My cases are sticking in the chamber, (Lapua)..  I've been told about the primary extraction mechanics and my bolt nodule and baffle ramp are not making contact untill the "very" top of bolt lift. Even then, it's only touching, there is no room for any extraction. "ALL" extraction is coming from my right hand. My weaver T-36 is streaked wth blood from my knuckles. (literally)..  If I insert a scewdrver between the action and the baffle it pulls the cases out fine.  What needs to be done here??  Can "I" fix it ???    Thanks.... tootalloutdoors
