bushnell legend 2x7 ?
« on: February 01, 2007, 07:13:02 AM »
Hi,
I was looking at the legend 2x7 scope to put on my encore 209x50, and was wondering will this scope hold up? since it is a 2 piece tube. Or should i go w/trophy or 3200 line? Thanks Roger ;D

Just because it is a two piece tube doesn't mean that it won't hold up.  Actually, unless a maker advertises that it's scopes are one piece tubes, they'll be made from at least two.  The older Leupold Vari X II's have a sterling reputation for durability, yet until recently, they were 3 pieces.  The objective, the tube and the eyepiece were separate parts.  I've never used a Legend, but I've read several positive reviews of the scope, especially for the cost vs quality.  I think that it'll hold up fine.  Besides, it has a lifetime warranty on it.

I have one on my Rem700ML and am pleased with it. I haven't shot it enough to make any claims on its durability though.
