I've been considering a PC-9.  Is there a way to shorten that protruding magazine?  I don't mind less capacity.  It just looks awful and it seems as though it wouldn't take much to damage it.

  Aside from completely altering the magazine itself I can't think of any way.  I wouldn't worry about damaging it unless you really slam it hard.   You may however want to know that the PC line have been discontinued so whatever is out there...that's it.
