I don't,  I hand them on a peg out side the safe.

I have 'em all over the place (gotta fix that someday).  Some lie in a row on top of the safe, a few on the shelves in the safe, and some on other shelves.  Disorganized mess, really.  When I get my gun room finished, I will probabaly do what Redhawk does - hang 'em all in an organized manner.
On Target Technologies (I believe) makes a barrel hanger or storage system which they advertise on their website.  I haven't really studied it, but maybe I will look into it.  Mattrer of fact, I think I will now.  Your post got me to thinkin'..................

When I had my Encore, I did like Redhawk.  I had a shelf with pegs on it and hung them through the hinge pin hole.  Another shelf with pegs about 18"-20" underneath the first one kept the barrels from hitting each other.

The best way I've found To store them is.  Buy Frames for them. ;D    T/C makes some nice cases to store them in also.

This is what I've done so far.  I have a frame for each of my Contender and Encore rifle barrels.  Works really well!   ;D

I have taken those silicone gun socks for rifles, cut them in half and sewed the end closed. Two barrel bags for the price of one sock. Have these  stood up in the corner of the safe.

I have three frames and 29 different barrels.  I found that spraying an old boot sock with silicone spray, and storeing the socked barrel stacked in a wodden box protects them and helps prevent rust.  At one time I shot the contender every day, now I only use three barrels, so the rest are truly stored.  If I would clean out, and sell all the stuff I don't use I could take a trip to Alaska hunting, hummmmmm!

I use the OTT (On Target Technologies) barrel hangers.  I have them mounted on the inside door of my gun safe.  They work great and take up very little room.  I have nine barrels ( a mix of rifle and pistol with scopes) hanging there right now. I took off the inside door panel, drilled the proper size holes for the hanger, and bolted the hangers to the panel.  I also used a thin strip of aluminum bar stock (available at most any hardware store) as a full length "washer" to prevent the bolts from pulling through the panel.
