Reaming to a 357max.

Do any of you guys know anything about reaming a 357 handi to a 357max.?  A friend of mine mentioned it to me and I was wondering what it involves.  What about ammo?  Can you buy factory ammo or is it something you have to reload and where can you get casings?

just reamed mine, rented from 4-D products (on web,do search) ,took about 10 minutes, no normal factory ammo,
custom ammo makers load it ,such as reeds ammo,cnc cartridge ( again on web,search) cost me 35 to rent the reamer
reamed by hand, like tapping a hole, very easy

 buckslugger is right about reaming, you can get brass from Midway
 for about $15.00 per 100. Most 357 dies will work on Maximum.
 I rhink it improved even for 38 spl and 357 mags for shooting.

Its easy, takes more time to take the ejector mech out than turning the die.

did I read that you now have a 445sm?  Did you do the job, or hire out.  If you, where did you get the tool?

on the topic of reamers, would it be fairly easy to ream a 30-30 to a 30-30 ackley improved? more to the point, would it be worth it?

 Bajabill Nope not Me I do not have 44 Mag barrel now, Bad as the one I had
 I don't want another. Ditchdigger is the only one that has a 445sm.
 He did his with a rented ream. Marv.

Marv,

Drinks has reamed his .44 out to .445 SM too, but I don't know where he got the reamer.  I think he uses bullets in the .431" range to get it to shoot cast bullets.
