TLA Right Handed Single Action Army
« on: February 09, 2007, 08:30:02 AM »
I just thought I would post a few picture of my TLA.  It is engraved by AA White.  It is chambered in .44 Mag with a 7 1/2 " barrel.  It is plated, but I've had differing opinions on wheather it is electroless nickel or silver, or something else.  Definately not a high polish nickle like a Colt's.  I'm told this was originally in RL Wilsons collection and was auctioned.  If anyone has any additional history on this one, I would sure be interested.  I will need to do several posts to include the pictures.

Awesome to say the least..............Definately a one of a kind.  Don't see many West Texas Flattop models.

Hi David L,

Very nice Texas Single Action Army.  You sure don't see these very often.  These are pictures from Bill Grover's TLA colored brochure on the SA Army and West Texas Flattop.

Poules,
I'm glad you posted this.  I was wrong in my above post.  I thought the gun was a West Texas Flattop target model. I should have looked closer at the front sight and lack of a rear sight.  Pretty obvious actually. I was stunned by the fancy gun I guess
