I don't use a handgun for a finisher but I frequently have used my Ruger Security Six with 4" barrel as my primary firearm on hogs. I have taken 4 or 5 out to 30 yds using 145 gr Winchester Silver Tip HP's. But then I have also taken a couple with my S&W 622 using High Speed solids to.

Those Winchester Silver Tip HP's are nice, accurate rounds in my .357 revolvers.
I really like the 180 gr. Winchester Partition Gold's more, however.
