Somewhere a long time ago, I read a great thread on break-in
procedures for new NEF barrels, can anyone help?

Hi Chip and welcome aboard. Click on the FAQ's, right above this thread and the first section is all about barrel break in. Good luck and any further questions just ask, there are many here to help....<><....
