Sizing 45 Colt brass
« on: February 10, 2007, 11:10:30 AM »
I have just full length sized some Star and Winchester 45 Colt brass using an RCBS carbide die.  Sized brass will not slip easily into the chamber on my Ruger Blackhawk.  I've never had this problem with my 357 or 44 Mag S&W revolvers.  What's my problem.

Sounds like maybe your die is mis-adjusted.

I solved my problem.  I was rotating the cylinder to far and the case was binding on the loading gate.
