Does anybody shoot either of these two barrels, and if so, how do they shoot?

I don't shoot either one, but I do have a 280 Rem. Pro Hunter on order as we speak.

Getting kind of anxious.

I think RedHawk1 shoots a 280.

I can tell you I've got a big hankering for one or the other, or maybe both.....I've got a Weatherby .308, but been thinking of selling it to get the Encore barrel.  I've got a buddy thats a police sniper/instructor, and he brings me a bunch of brass after they go out to shoot or where he teaches a school.  Probably got about 500 pieces.

On the other hand, I've got a ton of 7mm bullets and the .280 just looks interesting.

I've got a 24" regular .280 (not pro hunter) and though I haven't taken the time to really wring it out, it looks like I will have little trouble getting it to shoot. After about 25 rounds before Deer season I was getting about 1.5 "- 2" 100 yd groups with factory ammo.
And by the way it is a real Deer killer.
