I've got a BAR in 30-06 and if I do my part it will touch 3 shots at 100 yards. It's nice to just take one load and adjust the BOSS to it. I currently load 125 Nosler Ballistic tips and a max charge of Hodgdon Varget powder.

They work exactly as advertised.  The original muzzle brake style seems to me to reduce felt recoil (M70 300 WM) and it's LOUD.  Never tried the BOSS CR (conventional recoil/non-ported) but word has it they also work, without the loud part.  I think they're cool but can see that they detract from the looks of a classic walnut & blued steel rifle.  Mine's a stainless & synthetic so it doesn't make much difference.  -WSJ

Is the BOSS available on the BAR models.  Left handed models, specfically.   Why don't they make a left handed BAR in synthetic?
