I must be because I'm working, paying for my own foot, housing and health insurance and it took me 2 years to pay off 4 years of college.  Oh, and English is my first language.  So what do I win?  Oh right... more taxes.  :P

A sad but very true story.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

While I'm in a writting mood ( posted a few entries prior ), one of the great things about America is that most anyone can be an American. Come here legally, learn the language and customs. Work, pay taxes, raise a familly if you choose. All good. Forget the "hyphone-American". How many of our ancesters came here, ( mine from Italy two generations ago), from other countries, played by the rules, and voila, here we are!! CONVERSLY, can people go to any of the European Countries, African Countries, Central/South American Countries, Australia, or wherever, and eventially be considered one of there?? Nope!! What concerns me is the "Balanization" of America, deviding us by special interest groups, each with their own agenda, rather then "melting" for the good of all. O.K., off my soapbox. Mark.

NO, I am an illegal immigrant.  I pay no taxes, get welfare, free schooling for my nine kids, free medical care at the emergency room, have no auto insurance, and don't care, i steal jobs from Americans, am escaping charges of rape and murder in Mexico, provide dope to your kids as a means of making extra money, and best of all, YOUR President won't let me be deported.  Oh, what a great life.

CHEAP LABOR
Isn't that what the whole immigration issue is about?
Business doesn't want to pay a decent wage
Consumers don't want expensive produce
Government will tell you Americans don't want the jobs
But the bottom line is cheap  labor.
The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth, a farce, a lie...an oxymoron.  There is no such thing as "cheap labor." Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children.
He takes a job for $5.00 or $6.00/hour.
At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet
at the end of the year, if he files an Income Tax Return, he gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200 free.
He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent
He qualifies for food stamps
He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care .
His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school.
He requires bilingual teachers and books .
He qualifies for relief from high energy bills.
If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SSI.
Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare.
All of this is at the taxpayer's expense.
He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or
homeowners insurance.
Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material.
He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits.
Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after paying their bills and his.

The American taxpayer's also pay for increased crime, graffiti and trash clean up.
Cheap labor?
YEAH RIGHT!
Wake up people!
