I haven't. It's an unappealing gun because anything I'd hunt with that cartridge would be better hunted with a Contender.  The Contender shoots the same cartridge with better velocity and also is chambered for better cartridges, like 221 fireball (for a great 10" barrelled gun) and .223 (for a great 14" barrelled gun).  I've handled the Raging Hornet, and heard it shot at the range. It's a huge gun when you add a scope to it-- A scoped 10" contender seems compact and light by comparison. The Raging Hornet is too heavy to meet IHMSA weight limitations for production silhouette shooting. The noise isn't as bad as I expected it to be. It's a comfortable gun to hold from a rest.

From what I've seen in the reviews, I think I'd also prefer the Contender because it appears to have better accuracy at 100 yards than the raging hornet does at 50.  This is important to me because most anything I'd hunt with it is small and requires an inherently accurate gun to take it at realistic distances.

I had this gun last year. While it was pretty accurate it was a pain to
remove the empty cases. I had to use a plastic mallet on the ejection
rod to get the cases out. Even when I polished the chambers it would
only release the cases two or three times before it would start sticking
again. I agree with the earlier post that a contender or an encore is a
much better choice. I have sold that gun and took a real beating. The
gun dealer said he had a hard time selling them. they were real popular
for awhile but died down shortly after.

Well it seems I don't have to leave a pargragh, I absolutely agree with the others.
