Navy Arms

I have a small 45 caliber rifle. Was told it was a kit gun but can't find any information about it. Anyone know anything? Total length is 33" and is a side hammer. Thanks  Kenny

Can you post a picture?

If not, perhaps some more detail will help. Is it a full or half stock? Are there any numbers, letters, insignia, etc stamped on the barrel or the trigger frame? What type of metal (brass, iron, nickel plated)  is used in the furniture - that is, the trigger guard, the lock, the stock end caps (if any), the tenon pin hole guards?

Not able to do pictures. Has a six sided blued  barrel, buckhorn styled sights, cl45, sierial number, on the sideplate it only says Navy Arms Co., half stocked, brass triggerguard,  blued trigger, and brass buttstock. Thanks  Kenny

Does it look anything like this, without the patchbox in the stock?

Are you certain the barrel is hexagon in shape and not octagon?  Don't recall ever seeing a hexagon barreled muzzleloader.  Be interesting if you could figure out how to post a pic or have someone do it for you.  I'd have to have someone do it for me....

Sorry.. does have 8 sided barrel. Don't know if it looks like that or not as I can't get the picture to come up on your post. Have tried asking navy arms and so far haven't received a reply. Thanks  Kenny
