I am considering having a stainless barrel fitted to a chrome moly 700 action and then having the action finished parkerized and the barrel bead blasted finish. Has anyone seen a gun like this ir know where I can look at one simmilar to this or does anyone have any other ideas of finish combinations.

I have two 10-22s with their painted blacl recievers and stainless bull barrels. I have no way to get pictures so I can't help that way. I also mix stainless and blue frames and barrels on my Contenders. I think they look fine.

I think that a black receiver and a stainless barrel looks very good. You could go to Kimber's website and look at the Longmaster Classic's and the Varmint's, they would look similar to what you want to do.
