Many years ago i had a new ruger Bi (1776/1976) Mk pistol and i was out of work and i had to part with it. Recently i picked up a MkI and a MkII. One has the bull barrel. They have sat in the safe for a few years now. They were used and one was never taken apart and cleaned it was leaded up even inside the reciever. Well I took them both apart and cleaned them and lubed them up with moly and they sat in the safe. I haven't shot a 22 pistol in many years maybe over 30+ years. The other day my new neighbor asked me about the ruger 22 pistols and i told him i had two that i never shot yet. Since we live in trhe country now i brought them over to his farm and we fired a few rounds out of both of them. All i can say is it was a blast to shoot them again after all these years. That little 22lr is a hoot to shoot and very accurate too. I wasn't sure which one to buy so i purchased both the short skinny barrel and the bull barrel rugers. They were priced very reasonable too. I guess I been shooting the big bores too long.
