When you are Trap'n UNDER ice. Arent you afrade that you wont be able to hind the hole that you make ,to get under the ice, again ? It must be kind'a dark under the ice. Do you use a flash light? Guess it has to be water proff too.

Newty its no problemo finding hole even while under ice as it looks like a flashlite shining down thru the ice from above and easy to locate. If one has problem finding hole he or she used originally one just has to walk over to a bvr run and fall thru the thin ice and your under again with no problems. See how simple it is Newty? Why i guess thats why people like Boggy can trap up here in der nort becuase we dont make such problems out of thangs as you sudern twappers!!

Newt, Newt, Newt,
It's simple, you just follow your bubble trail back to the hole!

Why Newty sorry bout your icefishing boat experience but you should try turtling with ice! All you have to do is walk around on pond and look thru the clear ice and the turtles are all at the shorline under ice. You can pick the ones you want IF THE SEASON was open but its not LOL. You should see the big snappers in the ponds. I catch alot of snappers in 330s set in bvr lodge runways.. one time i caught the same one three times ( i marked him or her) I then took turtle to another ponds ...LOL...

Newt
Old RdFx is trying to spoof ya into passing over. I've probably spent more time under the ice than anyone on this site. In fact the boy and I plan to be under the ice this coming Saturday.
Take it from me don't go into the light!
Following your bubble trail can work or laying out a trail of popcorn shrimp can work sometimes to. If there is a lot of timber try the little bright eye reflectors on your back trail.
But trust me on this one the hole in the ice from below will appear as a dark spot.
So again I state don't go into the light!!!! LOL!
Go to the dark side----I mean spot. :-)
