I'd like to see a forum on this and maybe include some "how to build" info. therein.

To be honest I was kinda hoping this one wouldn't reach 12 votes but see it has. So I will approve it as is my policy WHEN I get a volunteer to Moderate it. Of course the personal asking for it gets first dibs if they want to moderate it but if not it's open to anyone else who thinks they'd like the job.

It will not be set up until I get a volunteer tho.

I could and would contribute with pic's, and info on what we do in Minnesota. I've used blinds, portable, fixed tree stands,   sniper bunkers, etcetera.

They make some pretty outlandish stands up here. State actually thinking about passing laws regarding how big they can be.

Bearfat are you volunteering to be Moderator?

So far no one has and I'm not setting it up without a moderator, that's standing policy.

No.

I might start a post in "Hunting in Minnesota". I don't think I can entertain or be entertained too long with the subject.

This is my LAST post on this matter and the LAST CHANCE this one has to see the light of day. I'm giving you folks two weeks from now to come up with a volunteer to moderate this forum. IF that happens I will open it. If it doesn't I will delete this poll and it would then be a waste of time to ever ask for one again.

I am amazed that so many folks will vote for a new forum yet when it's approved and ready to be set up no one seems to have any interest at all anymore. Maybe it's time to just stop setting up new forums here.

Thank you for this site. I have had some serious heart problems. I am still able to hunt but the wife and the doctor does not want me to climb any more. I need as much info  on ground blind hunting as I can get. I was fortunate this year to take a 7 pt and a 6 pt from the ground using my turkey garb but I would prefer something a little more comfortable and allow a little more movement . I also have a grandson and a granddaughter that like to hunt with me. I will be checking this site regularly for info. I may also have several climbing stands for sale(Summit, Ol'Man, API and Buck Shot.)
