I replaced the flat spring that pushed on the sear with a thinner one and got my trigger pull to about 2 lbs. If you go too thin, you lose half cock. I polished mine a little, but the trigger parts seemed extremely hard and I began to wonder if they were case hardened and I decided not to mess with it anymore - they had a good finish on them anyway. They are very simple to take apart and reassemble - just a couple minutes, so I wouldn't worry about that. You can't retrofit the Uberti double set trigger onto a single trigger gun - I looked into that also. I don't know a lot about High Walls, and I don't know if what I did was safe or a good idea, but it worked for me and I am convinced my gun is still safe and I still have the original spring if I want to change it back or sell it. Good Luck.
