Is it necessary that it be public land. You are in eastern CO and the amount of public land is extremely limited there. As a representative of a signifcant landowner I would suggest knockin on a few doors, you will find little resistance to coyote hunting and private land trumps public land ....all day ....every day.

Wahunterinrok, can't you hunt predators on Fort Carson if you're stationed there?

Skb2706, your statement, private land trumps public land all day every day? I find that kinda of misleading.
Private land can hold some very good predator hunting alright, but public land in the right places and states can even be better from my experence.

Little factoids....you can do with them what you wish

Eastern CO is made up of 95% private land

the remaining 5% is hunted pretty hard by the masses

It is very unlikely that the 5% of the land holds anywhere near the quantity or quality of game animals.

Without public access most private land in eastern CO has no where near the pressure.

Game animals don't like that much pressure.

Nothing misleading about that at all.

I hunt private land because I like the odds.......but thats just me.

Little factoids, ( little bits of facts. ) you can do with them what you wish ??? skb2706, I have been doing what I wish predator hunting and have been very successful at it all on public land. ;D
You are talking about eastern Colorado being 95% private, I believe you. It's nice that you can hunt private land. But you made the statement that private land trumps public land all day.....every day. :-\
I'm here to say private land don't always trump public land in some western states.  I have more then "little factoids"  ::)to back up my statement. :-*lol.........What ever the case, good hunting.
