SBH Hunter Grips
« on: February 12, 2007, 08:35:58 AM »
I have a SBH Hunter (round trigger guard).  Does anyone make a rubber grip with finger grooves (similar to the monogrip) that would fit?  Any information would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Pachmeyer would be my first guess.

I bought the Hogue, designed for the SBH with squared-off trigger guard. The tiny gap that exists due to the round trigger guard of the SBHH is hardly noticed, but I suppose it could be an issue with some.

Thanks for both responses.  I went for the Hogue monogrip.  Sidekick is right.  You don't notice the slight gap, and it doesn't affect performance.  Thanks again.

Could you please tell me if your SBH Hunter is the one with the Bisley grip, hammer, & trigger?  The reason I ask is because that is the gun I have (the Bisley Hunter) and I have been wanting some Hogue rubber grips for it.
Many thanks,

Mine is the standard grip (not the Bisley). Don't know if Hogue makes a grip for the Bisley SBHH.

Don't believe anyone makes rubbers for the Bisley style grip frame.  The design of the grip itself is for aiding in the handling of recoil anyways.

Mine is the standard (not Bisley) grip.  I know Hogue does not make a monogrip to fit the Bisley.  I'm not sure about anyone else.

thanks for the reply.  I thought that yours was probably the standard grip.  Most all my other revolvers have the Hogue rubber grips and they sure make a difference in handling.  If Hogue ever does come out with a grip for the Bisley SBHH I will be in line to buy it!  thanks again for the reply!
