THE 2007 Interantional Open - suggestions of designs
« on: February 24, 2007, 02:54:43 AM »
I've heard from some folks considering two designs that have not yet been posted.

In addition there is one piece of 1-1/4" stainless here that is just begging to become a handgonne!

Here are a couple of musings from a year or so ago.

This is from 1-1/4" stainless and is in 20ga (0.625" bore diameter).  Hand held until I get around to putting on a tiller.

This is in 10ga (about .77 caliber) with a 12ga pumkin ball next to it.

Here is a design that could be used for the handgonne sized piece:

Click the image for a dimensioned drawing.  You could even make it a little fatter around the chamber and stay within the material.

If you look at the base of the little mortar a few posts prior - they are silver soldered together.
