Been doing it for years,it workes good but you have to do it before you gutt it and you have to plug the bullet hole. When the neck swells up like he is in full rut you got it.I use a 1/4"copper tube and i start with 100 lbs of air and start your skinning like normal arround the leggs and pull it off like a shirt. If it pulles hard put a golf ball under the hide tie a rope aruond the ball and pull it off with your truck. Its clean with verry little hair on the meat than gut it.LP :D

I tried the rock under the hide method first time, this year. I was amazed at how well it worked. I just helped it a bit over the shoulders, and the whole thing was over in less than a minute. Really clean too.

:-D  :-D  It works on sheep.  One time i was going to skin a lamb to roast, and some old feller asked me if i had a bicyle air pump???? I asked him what the He-- are you talking about..  sure enough, we cut a little slit in leg ,stuck the air hose from pump, and started pumping..   never laughed so hard in my life.. Did you ever see the cartoon Pink panther, when he starts to inflate,,
