Like the photos in the other thread, my linstock photos will have to be uploaded to my current hosting site before they can be posted. All links to them on the old site are dead.

I'll do that this afternoon when I get home from work.

My linstock head was constructed out of copper tubing and fittings. There were actually two versions. This is the original. It worked well but there were a couple of things I wanted to change.












The original head was prone to getting bent during transportation, so I added a supporting ring, and I gave it a little angle at the top whereas the first one was set ant a right angle to the pole. I also gave it a more gentle bend to make it easier to thread the match through the tubing.

Like Terry, I did pretty much the same thing.  A trip through the local hardware store provided all the 1/4" copper fittings that I needed.  The picture pretty much explains it all.

Where do you get those tube fittings? our two remaining "hardware" stores (Big blue & the orange destroyer) Don't have anything under 1/2 " Or is that HEAVY rope?

You should be able to find them at the Blue Guys (Lowes)... that's where I found mine.  You might also want to check any "Ace Hardware Store" as I've seen them there too.
