lazer bore sighter
« on: March 03, 2007, 02:09:23 PM »
Been having difficulty trying to adjust a Bushnell scope  to conform to a lazer marker at 50 yds. I am about i" too high on the cross hairs of the scope. I tried shimming and that does not seem to work. All scope adjustment have been done to the max for this problem.  any suggestions appreciated. This on a Savage 17 hmr 93. ???

Get Burris Signature Zee rings and a set of the offset inserts, center the reticle using the Leupold mirror method, then use the appropriate inserts to bore sight the scope without making turret adjustments, fine tune at the range. Info on how to use the inserts is in the Burris .pdf link, it may take a while to download, their server leaves a bit to be desired, if ya can't download it from them, email me and I'll send it to ya.
