Welcome hawkenman ...

This is a great website as you will soon discover. I, too, am getting ready to get an Elite as I have handled them in a gun shop, emailed their C.S. guy Mark, and listened to those here that have actually purchased and tested these rifles/muzzleloaders. Their combos are the best bargain for the money from what I see. Check out their website if you haven't already ... http://cva.com/index.htm ...

Also ... you are typing all capital letters ... that is considered to be "yelling" on the internet and is actually hard for me to read.

Good shooting to you ....

Welcome hawkenman, :) you will find a lot of knowledge, here. I am waiting for the Elite in 45-70 and I hope it comes soon! You will not be disappointed in a CVA muzzleloaders and rifles. I purchased a Kodiak Pro Masgnum several months ago and I have been very happy with it! The rifle shoots great. You will find quality in CVA!
