fiber optic fibers
« on: March 11, 2007, 02:05:29 PM »
i went out yesterday to try out my DISC rifle, it was a good day.  it has the truglo fiber optic sights on it.
has anyone had a problem with the red fiber "fuzzing out" on them while in a lower light situation?
i'd really like to replace the fibers with green in the rear and red or blue in the front, i think that would be easier on the eyes.
can you use universal fibers on these?

I'm not sure the sights are made to replace the fibers...likely you would have to replace the whole sight.  Then the issue becomes finding ones with the same mounting in the same height.  The color selection is pretty standard.
