Your stock is probably the Dura-Maxx stock that B&C makes for Savage rifles. It's injection molded like regular factory plastic stocks, but it is stiffer. I've had two of them. The Medalist or Carbelite series of stock is a totally different ball game. They are solid, kevlar composite/fiberglass stocks. I've had several of them too.
If it were me, I'd by a regular 10FP and get the Medalist Tactical stock for it. Gun would be about $500 or less, you can find the Medalist stock for under $200 sometimes....regular price is around $250 or a bit more. Last one I got was on Ebay for $192 shipped.
Well, that depends on what price you've got on the McMillan stocked gun. Last price I saw on the McMillan stocked rifle was close to $800. It really depends on whether an extra $100 or so is important to you. You could also look at the HS Precision stocked rifle. I've seen them for around $650, and I think that's a hard deal to beat.
