Took the uberti out this weekend and i have to say that i really like this little 45. It is a real pleasure to shoot. feels good in hand. recoil is easy to handle and it just feels good to shoot. I put 50rds of factory winchester cowboy loads and all went very well. It shoot to point of aim for me. When i mean point of aim i really mean point of aim. I had to cover the target at least half ways at 25 yrds and it hit died on. No left problems. It really seem to shoot good to if i can do my part. I had a good little cluster going at 25yrds with 4 shoots but then i lost it. I am having a little trouble seening the thin front sight. Now for the rest of the story. I met a older gentilman at the rang that was 70 yrs old. and we got to talking about pistol and rifles. the more i talk to this guy the more i learn that he new a lot about reloading and shooting. It was a real joy to talk to some one like that. He new a lot of info about guns and reloading. It was costing me a lot of range time but i really didn't mind. i enjoyed talking to him i think as must as he enjoyed talking to me. He told me that he had cancer and was taking treatment for it ( a hard thing to talk about). He really like the uberti and said he never shoot a 45 colt but did shoot 44mag a long time ago. so i couldn't help but let him fire some rounds though it and my 357mag bh. I think he really engoyed the chance and i did to. So that experance to me was better then even the 45 uberti shooting well. the older gentleman had lots of stories and i love hearing them all. And i hope that talking to me and shooting my pistol gave him one more enjoyable day in his life. Its funny how we touch people and people touch us. thanks for listoning to this.
