nothing

Instead of the Encore why don't you get one Handirifle in 7mm-08, one in .280 Remington, and one
in another caliber of your choice, I would suggest the 45/70. You will have spent about the same
amount of money as buying a single TC Encore and will have tripled your pleasure....<><.... :D

They will shoot about the same.
Both are limited by the forarm as far as accuracy. (you can't full float them)
Although I have seen sub moa from both.
The plus side of the encore is that you can swap and trade barrels without fitting.
But you can get a whole handi for the price of an encore barrel.

The 2 big things about the Encore...Strength & Cartridge selection...and you can get most if not all in a 28" barrel if you want...Like it has been said before...accuracy will depend on your paticular rifle...but the extra velocity you will gain with a 28" barrel over 22" will be a-lot at 300-400 yards.MSP has suggested a 280...and with NEF's 26" barrel would make a fine compromise especially if you are hand loading....and don't want to spend as much to get one.....but there are other calibers available for the Encore that can exceed what you will get with the 280 from either one as well...and only available with the Encores.
