Finally decided on a Coach Gun

After reading many posts from different forums on the SxS Coachguns,  and checking with the distributors of Norinco, Coyote Caps version of the Norinco, Remingtion, TTN, and Stoeger, I came down to two guns.   The Stoeger double barrel, and the EMF version of the TTN external hammer SxS.   I've always liked the Stoeger Uplander and the Churchill double barrel shotguns, so that little Stoeger Coach appealed to me right off.   

SO, after much deliberation with myself, the EMF's version of Colt's 1878 Old West Shotgun (TTN Coachgun) was my choice, and on Wednesday I called in my order to Santa Ana, California (EMF Company), about 10 miles north of  TTN International.
   Had to call them later that evening to make sure everything was going according to 'Hoyle', and they said the item was packed and just waiting for the paperwork to be completed for shipping.    HotDog!   Just a few more days of pacing the floor.    Almost feels like being an expectant father.

I bought one of those TTN coach guns for my wife. I like it so much that I've started using it!

Hey Seth:
Just brought mine home last night from the Dealer, and got the heavy grease cleaned off.   This one is a heavy little Rascle, but it sure is a beauty.   Doesn't have any of EMF's Logo on it at all.   But it does have a couple of TTN's .    Bought a box of Winchester AA Trap #8 loads to  run through it.    Saw where GOEX sells loads made with Black Powder and Black Powder Replica (Pinnacle) for about $15 a box at Midway, I think is where it was.  May try one of those too.
Aug 13th.
Set up large cardboard back drop for target practice.    At 25yds, using 7 1/2 Win AA, this gun patterned heavier on the left side of the bulls eye than the right side every time, with either barrel.     If a person would want to hunt upland birds with it, the pattern is dense enough at that range.    Recoil with the light load was mild.   With that said, tomorrow it'll be with the 2 3/4" #00 Buckshot. ;D

The EMf Colt Coach Gun was tested with Remington Express #00 Buckshot (9) pellets per round.  Fired one round per barrel.
 
The right barrel sent one pellet to the bullseye, 3 pellets side by side 6" high and to the left about 10", and the rest were wide left.

The Left barrel put one pellet right of the bullseye and all the rest were widely scattered to the left about a foot.
