I have a old reloading booklet from TC, back when TC first came out with the super 14 contender. This booklet has reloading info for the 357 and 44 hot shot cartridges. The info TC gives is to full length resize, bell mouth slighty, charge case, seat capsule in seating die and crimp maximum amount using RCBS crimp die. Recommended loads are 5/8 oz. shot (does not say what size shot), large pistol primer (Win. or Rem.), case (Win. or Rem.), powder Hercules (Alliant) Bullseye 7.0 grs. to 8.0 grs. for a velocity of 1129 f.p.s. to 1218 f.p.s. with the 8.0 gr. load being the recommended load. I also have an older booklet from 1985 that has info using DuPont (IMR) Hi-Skor 700x powder in the amount of 10.5 grs. with 5/8 oz. shot Win. case and primer. I have used these loads myself with good results. Hope this is of some help. This info is for the .44 Hot Shot.
