 Looks like the rifle range will be closed for a couple of more weeks. We have about 18 inches of new snow on it.  What ever made us think that a rodent could predict the weather anyway. Puxatawney  Phil,  bah !     He better hope I don't cross his path this year.

I really feel for you guys up there. I think this local area got a total of less than 5" all winter. We used to get a lot more but I think all the guys in the southern parts of the states are contibuting to global warming by getting their barrels too hot at their ranges and in the field.

Last week I seen them out everywhere here in SW VA and temps in the high 70's. But today it's been in the 30 and 40's with scattered snow... I guess thats March for ya ???

It's been beautiful here in SE Oklahoma with highs in the 60's and 70's.  When its this nice I get an itch to plant my garden a little early but we usually get another frost/freeze around the first of April. Charlie

My birthday was on the 13th, last tuesday and it went up to about 60 here in lancaster co.  I think I murdered phils cousin if it makes any of you feel better.  First chuck of the year and the first one of many for my .223 handi. ;D

Guys I hate to rain on your parade, but it's been in the 70's to 80's here ;D, can't get out to shoot cause there's too stinkin much yard work.  Unfortunately, I can't shoot the yard ???.

No groundhogs out here though.
