Any one seen or used one of those NEW Thermagic shotshell hull conditioner.... an electrically heated reloading tool...  the Thermagic units "irons" out the fold and roll crimps in hulls.

I have seen them in the BPI catalog, but have never used one. Seem to be the thing to do if going from a point crimp to a roll crimp. Otherwise I don't see a lot need for them. ;D

BPI carries it? ... are you thinking of the "spin doctor" instead of the "Thermagic"?

I was thinking, it would be idea for paper hulls and/or for those odd gauges..... other than 12g or 20g's (where there are tons of hulls available).

I've never used one. It was written up in Handloader magazine (February 2007, I think). At around $80, it's a little to expensive for me to run right out and buy one. Bpi's conditioner works pretty good on plastics.
