Turkish Mauser sights

Some years back I paid $20 (FFL price) for a Turkish mauser "missing small parts". I got a long rifle in fair shape, without a front sight. I shortened the barrel to 18", set the barrel bands back the same, and put on a Uruguayan sight from Numrich that had protective "ears". I removed the steel butplate, cut the stock straight, and added a plain brown recoil pad, upside down to match the stock profile. I now have something that looks like a Mauser "jungle carbine" that still mounts a bayonette. It isn't a great shooter, but I can't see the military sights very well. Does anyone know of some hi-vis sights that can be put on without a lot of fuss? I'd like to use this on feral hogs---with the bayonette as a last-ditch resort.

 I own several Mausers including 3 Turks...To improve the sight picture, I use a small triangle file and open up the U notch to a V which is a bit deeper and wider at the top...It also aids in getting the guns to shoot better at 100 yds...Normally they willl shoot high at 100 yds. because they are calibrated to shoot at 300 meters at the lowest setting...Opening up the notch and making deeper really does help.
