Hey fellas
Just wanted to let yall know this is one awsome site.Yall have more forums here than most sites has members ;D. I got my wisdom teeth cut out friday morning and all I ve done is set around and play online, thats how I found this site. I have a handi rifle with a heavy barrell 223 I bought 4 or 5 years ago. I didnt realize that you could have them rebarreled until I started reading this site. What is the turn around time on getting a new barrell? Again great site.

Welcome 99jav,
I'm a new guy here as well. You're right, great info here.
The turnaround on rebarreling is roughly 8 weeks.  Lots of info in the FAQ on this. Look at http://www.hr1871.com under customer service to see the accessory barrel program.  If your receiver is 99 or later  (NN or HN serial number or later), you can put any barrel on it.

Welcome to both of you. It is a great site and the best for Handi related goods.
Sometimes barrel turn around is much shorter then that. It depends if they have the barrel you want in stock and how backed up they are. If they ran out, and need to produce a new run, then you will have a much longer wait. Thats why most of us here have at least 2 SB-2 receivers, so we always have a backup to shoot off of 8)
Hang out and enjoy fellas.
