upcoming elections
« on: March 18, 2007, 12:30:10 PM »
Being tired of lake-link and not being able to post about anything conservative I decided to start a post on candidates and elections.  The polls are open across the state for State supreme court. The more conservative one is Annette Ziegler. I don't know much about either candidate . Any input about any candidate would help!

You guys can talk politics here if ya like. Politics and elections have at the very least, direct or indirect ramifications on Wisconsin outdoors. Plus, this forum is at the slow time of the year for participation.

I see Tommy Thompson endorses Annette Ziegler. That is at least a step in the right direction I would estimate. If it were Jim Doyle endorsing her, I know she would not be the man for the job. I also see that Paul Soglin (former flamming liberal leftist mayor of Madison) does not endorse her. That means she must be good for the job  ;D

I found this little piece online from here: http://www.waxingamerica.com/2007/01/wisconsin_supre.html

Paul--Thanks for the commentary on Annette Ziegler. I have been surfing the net to obtain info on Ziegler, Clifford, and Sommers in order to be able to cast my vote responsibly.

Your hatchet job on Ziegler was just what I needed to see in order to confirm that she will receive my vote. If you don't endorse her, I know she's the right person for the job.

Thanks again.
