Stoeger Condor
« on: February 02, 2007, 09:49:22 AM »
Just got a new Stoeger Condor O/U shotgun (12 gauge, screw in chokes, 26" barrel). Any one have any experience with this shotgun?  What can I expect from it?  I will be using it as an all around shotgun hunting gun. Mostly will be used for Turkeys and Doves (with the possible rabbit and tree rat).
I am looking to put a Tru Glow sight for it, any suggestions?

I bought a 20 ga for the wife last year. So far it has worked very well. I did most of the hunting with it as she was not able -doves. Good gun for alot less than you'd  normally pay for an O/U! ;D

Hi Kjump
I've been hunting with a Stoeger Uplander for about 8 years now and have had no problems. My brother has been using a Condor and no problems there either.  They are good guns for the money and probably the best deal you can find on a double.  Just make sure you read the instructions very well or go to their web site.  There is something about the single trigger on the Condor cocking for the second shot that is explained in either the manual or on the website.  I can't remember for sure what it said but sometimes people think their gun is malfunctioning but it isn't. Once you understand how it works it isn't a problem.  I bought a Condor for my son for Christmas. I think they are great guns.
