I wonder if it has a rebated rim, so that it will work better in an AR action like the 458 Socom.
There's not much info to run off......O well, another twist I suppose ;D

Quick:  Could the .45LC Carbine be bored out to .454, or 460?  Would the action hold the pressure?

Wayne York says it can take the 454, but not sure on the 460, but the case head is just .008" larger than the 270 at the same 65kpsii, but all load data for the 460 is well within the pressures of the 270. The  issue I see would be the fact that the pistol rounds have less surface area on the chamber walls to counter back thrust.

This looks interesting, have a frame at h&r getting a 357 & 45 colt barrels :o
