Fall Turkey hunting with a Rifle
« on: October 28, 2007, 03:11:36 PM »
Here in Maryland it is legal to hunt fall turkey with a rifle,  I am thinking of taking my .17 HRM out this week and see if I can take a bird with it.  I have no doubt that it will kill the bird humanly but my question is has anyone else used a rifle for fall turkey before?

I hope you are trying for a head shot. Those little .17's are destructive and can ruin alot of meat.
