Okay, I've always gotten the Encore frames, but now, after looking at a lot of posts, I see some are shooting the Contender, and it seems more pistol barrels are being sold here on this site.  I'm not real familiar with the Contender, so please, tell me about them.  I haven't seen any around the area where I live, only Encores.  What is a fair price for a new one, or a used one....Thanks

Just over a year ago I paid $180.00 for a used non-G2 Contender frame. It might have been a few bucks high, but overall the frame was clean and didn't have any wear in the hinge pin area.
It was also purchased from a dealer that was nice enough to seperate the frame from the barrel, several places I looked wouldn't part one out.
