30-30 handloads

Has anyone tried the hornady v-max 110 gr (or any really light 308s) in their 30-30?  I am curious how they will shoot.  I know that is much lighter than the 30-30 is intended for and I am not very knowledgeable about twist rates and bullet weights.  Any help appreciated.

I have been doing some work with the 90gr. Hornady XTPs that were designed for the M1 carbine in my 30/30 with deasent results , groups have been running in the 1 1/4" to 1 3/4" at 100 .

The best load so far is 31gr. of H4895 , but its still a work in progress .

I like the 110  spire point and RE- 7 powder.  With a 100 yard zero it is about -1.5" @ 150 and -5" @ 200.  Makes a pretty good groundhog load!

It will group 1" to 1.25" @ 100 yards.
