S.Sumner, there is no such thing as an ugly gun.  I will admit though, it is kinda goofy looking. ;)

S. Sumner - that looks a bunch like an 18?? German 11mm revolver I came by - forget the name of it now, it's packed away but mine has a full size trigger guard and, of all things, a safety on the left side of the action.  Mikey.

While the only 'stupid question" is the one not asked; I am bordering on asking a near "stupid question."

Some of you make reference to a picture, yet I do not have any pictures to view in this thread, have I just asked a "stupid question?"

I've noticed other posts that are missing the pics since the revamp of the site. Maybe Matt had to dump them when he redid it.

I told you it was UGLY !
Graybeard probably couldn't stand to have that ugly
of a picture on his Site anymore. Gotta' keep up some standards I guess.
(I'll try to sneak it back) ;D

S.Sumner,

What is ugly to some is genuinely good looking to others.  That being said, I have to whole-heartedly agree with you, It Is UGLY!

Greenjeans,

I guess that we were better off without the picture.  That's what we get for being inquesitive.

It is an Italian service revolver that was used through WWII.
It is 10.4 Italian in caliber, and Fiocchi still sells the ammo.

That will teach you !
scarred you for life I bet seeing something like that...
Don't blame me, I ain't paying for your counciling to get you over it ! ;D
Bob is correct about what it is, but this one was rechambered at some time to something
different and slightly bigger. close to 11.2mm instead of the 10.4. a .45 auto Rim
will fire in it but the cases bulge slightly.
