Tasco 6x24x44 varmint

I bought my tasco varmint 6x24x42 mill dot back in 2001, It hasnt boke yet!!!!!!. I was wondering if it was likely made in japan or china? dont have the box anymore and it dosnt say on the scope.

 mine has all the info painted on the bottom of the ocular bell in black ink, it may be hard to see but it's there. My example is made in japan
