Speer 210 grain Gold Dot .44 cal (.429) for ML?

Just wondering if these can be used with a green sabot in a .50 cal ML.  If so, what would be a good load for Pyrodex RS for this bullet and my Omega?  Any idea about the ballistics for such a load?  The reason I am asking is I bought a box of 100 for my .44 mag but might scrap the load and wanted to find another possible use for them instead of selling them.

Cabelas sells a sabot called a crush rib sabot for 44 cal bullets made by Harvestor. I think you can buy them online direct also. I am going to try them with 240 gr HP and the Gold Dots in 210 & 240 grs.

I would recommend the 230 gr. Speer Gold Dot in 45/50 with either the MMP EZLoad sabots or regular Harvester sabots - using around 75-90 gr of Pyrodex.

My Mz likes 80 gr with the Green sabot and 240gr 44 cal bullets. Don't know about velocity and traj.

Yes you can shoot up the 44 cal Gold dots in the green MMP sabots. I would start at 8ogr of prodex.
