Nikon Omega and 26" Encore barrel

The Nikon Omega scope is designed for the 28" Pro-Hunter  and Omega barrels.  Does anyone know how it would perform using the 26" Encore Barrel?  Not sure I can bring myself to pay $110 more the Pro-Hunter than the standard Encore barrel.

Yes it will work in the 26 inch barrel as well. I have two buddies that are using it on the 26 inch Encore barrels with great results.  They bought them after I showed them my results in my Pro-hunter.
