Added another ultra today....

I picked up a Ultra Slug in 20ga today!!!  Nice gun!!

 I took out the weight from the butt stock and added a Leupold 2X7X33 shotgun scope, in QRD Leupold rings.
Its the same set up as its big brother the Ultra 12ga!!

 Looking for a couple diff brands of ammo...then its off to the range!!

Yours isn't chambered for the NEW 3-1/2" slug, is it? ;) Looks like Hastings has targeted H&R/NEF to supply the guns to shoot these new slugs.

I didn't look that close.....I'll re check. I just assumed it was a 3" gun...

I would think it would not be difficult to extend the chamber of a 3" or even a 2.75" 20 gauge shotgun to 3.5 if you wanted to. Many have extended the chambers of old shorter chambered shotguns (2.5"?) to take the then new 2.75" shells. If there was interest it might be possible to rent or purchase a reamer and it could be passed from member to member as was done with the .357 Max and .445 Super Mag conversions....<><.... :)

Have the same in 20ga and also took the weight out of the stock.  I got great accuracy out of the lightfields (2"@100) but they are 400fps slower than the sst's (according to the box).  I did not have great performance out of the lightfields on whitetails.
