I just picked up a used stainless 336 in 35 Remington with a 18.5" bbl. The dealer thought it was a Davidsons exclusive a few years ago.
Is that the case, or did Marlin make a 18.5" bbl 336 in 35 at some point?
Nice gun. Really handy feel to it. Never really considered the 35 Remington until I shouldered this little gem. I scooped it up fast.
What do you think the velocity loss would be with a 18.5" bbl? Anything to write home about?
